Hey, I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I've been extremly busy with school and the kids. It's been a little tough, but we're getting through.

I had a few scary experinces, like moments of the day I cannot remember at all. Things will be moved around and disappear, yet I know I'm the only one who could have possibly moved them. It's really scary.

Over time my memory has been getting worse. It all began with my kids, which I figured was typical, but then it continued getting worse and now I have the black outs.

I'm uninsured but I did find a clinic that goes based on your income. If they want to test me in some way I'm not sure if I could....but I'll figure something out. If it is something, I hope it's mental and not physical.

I just wanted to share my concern, it's kinda scary to me. There may be many times I've blacked out but never knew.

Hi des, there are differing levels of dissociation that we all do. From perfectly normal to a problem. I would tend to wonder about being overwhelmed and going on auto pilot sometimes. It happens to me. Which car did I drive and where did I park it and I don't remember getting to this store. I hope you can speak with someone about it soon. Is there a dissociation quiz here you can try? I know that the mosre stresses I get the less present I am so I do things like drive an hour in the wrong direction in a daze. It is so darned frustrating!

Memory Loss and Black Outs. The dissociation is scary for you I'm sure, but not so dangerous. Black outs though? As in you pass out? That needs attention, if so.

I hope you figure it out so you can feel better. Thanks for checking in Memory Loss and Black Outs.

I can understand why that would be scary, Desirae. I hope the clinic visit goes well, and they find something they can help with. Memory Loss and Black Outs.

Keep us updated, ok? Memory Loss and Black Outs.

I don't know what its like having my memory suddenly get worse because I have always had memory problems and chunks of time that I could not remember which is I guess why in part I was diagnosed as having DID but I wanted to say hang in there cause I know how hard it is for me to not remember things. so hang in there it does get better. I am alot better memory wise now that I have been in therapy then I was before therapy.
