Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them.

Honestly, I am afraid that I could have mental problems that I am NOT aware of and then think the ones I am aware of are not the real ones!

I'm sorry, Beth and Mel. I used to be afraid of a lot of things. Still have some fears. One of my aunts is the one that taught me to face my fears and 9 times out of 10, there was nothing to be afraid of. Find out the WHY and you find healing.

I know why I was afraid of the dark... and all the sounds of the night. It wasn't that anyone had ever broken into our home as my fears presented themselves. It's the fact that my boundaries had been violated... my spirit, soul and body had been intruded upon.

No kidding! :-) Seriously though, when my T told me I had borderline multiple personality disorder (DID that is not the same DID that he knew anything about) - I rejected his conclusion and told him so! :-)

But what I am afraid of ---- ok don't laugh - well, ok laugh but not too loudly! --- those feet things on furniture that look like claws or animal feet ... also, door knobs that look like faces in any way! Actually, even drawer handlels that look like eyes or faces in any way - I can't handle them.

I can't sleep in a room with anything like that because I wake up wondering if it is alive and looking at me!! Fears!!

My worst fear is thinking about loosing my husband and/or my daugther.
I think it was a month ago, we went to the mall, I went to a particular store, I saw my husband playing with my child outside so I went in, looked for what I needed and went back outside, but they were gone.
I freacked out so bad that I got one of my worst anxiety attacks ever, it wasn't the first one, but is was the worst one.
I find them 5 minutes later, they were behind me but i coulndn't see them.
Thinking about loosing either of them makes me loose it all.
It't terrifing.
