Should I mention that I may seem peculiar because i've done alot of strange reading and theorizing?
until these issues started taking over I was trying to teach my self calculus and reading all i could on physics, quantum physics, string theory, pretty much every thing i could get my hands on.. maybe this was an obsession? I'm trying to figure out if i've had obsession problems, but its kind of hard for me to see it i guess.. although i tend to go overboard with most things i get into.. like playing a video game 24/7 until i get where i want to be, or reading about something i cant figure out till my eyes bleed?
I like to figure things out and understand how things work, i always figured my curiosity was healthy..
but anyway, would it make much a difference to tell them that i dont think like the person they may think i am? since i used to drink pretty much everyday, i feel like they may think that im not on the right level or something

I think you should tell your T anything that you believe will aid in your recovery. It's important for a therapist to understand you in the way you understand yourself so I definitely think you should be honest and tell them everything, good luck!

Do you still drink? I think maybe you just like to keep yourself busy studying stuff which i think is a good thing, it's better than drinking and you learn aot, maybe you're just studious? I think maybe you should keep tabs on how much you use the video games although, maybe it's a bit too much? I am impressed you study alot of hard subjects, i am awful with math, you have a gift i guess not many people can do math.

i have had a couple beers but not enough to catch a buzz and nor everyday.. probably only 2-3 times in past month or so; other than that i havent been drinking for the past month or so now... haven't really felt like it :/ probably because preoccupied with my mental health, i like my tinkerer it usually runs like clockwork... but i think a bolt fell into a gear some where...
i dont know about so much as a gift, because its not easy stuff to learn.. its like stuff that your brain wants to reject and not know and never remember, or atleast for me so i end up re-reasearching and reading... so its probably more of an obsession with wanting to know whats goin on in this crazy world? I just figure, the more you know.. the more you can, right?

i think calculus sucks pretty good, but it can be soo useful! there are lectures on youtube that are free too watch, if i was busy i would leave it running in the background just to hear them talk, exposure i guess? no one i know is into this stuff though haha

I've always been honest with them, i guess i just have too much to tell in 1 'sitdown'
I just miss being able to read and study like i use to, enjoying activities like games and drinking a few beers with other people..
i hope i can make some progress soon
