Help! I've been a member for more than an hour and ahalf. I 've written numerous posts but have yet to see one up. Am I doing something wrong, as usual?

No you aren't doing anything wrong. The mods (all volunteers) must view you first few posts (five I think) before you're allowed to post without prior approval. When I first joined, you were only able to post like five a day for so many days, then it went up over time.
