Wow, the story of my life.

Don't know who he is but I think he is probably talking in context of acquaintances. Is he competitive? It sounds kind of like something a competitive person would say. Or maybe it is really about people who over talk them. You know the ones I've been guilty.

There was a challenge on one of my favorite podcasts with a mother that said there are some subjects you should never, never bring up in convo with group such as a dinner or other social event. So the reporters went out to get an example for a particular subject that they would vote on as good or not. I can't remember them off the top of my head. Dreams was definitely one of them.

Sadly there are too many in this world who are like that .

A better version for me is:

"Be cautions who you share your problems with. Find the few who listen, care, and give advice sparingly and judiciously".

I know that version is true because I have a few friends who fit that description. For that I am grateful.

lou holtz probably said this with a bit of humor----he is a motivational speaker who, also was an exceptionally successful football coach. perhaps a bit of "be prepared" but don't take it too seriously...grains of truth...we all share at times...

It's is certainly how i feel, but It almost certainly can't be true, not for everyone out there.

That's why it's best to stay alone.
