Ok, so I was off my meds again for a week and then went back on for two days and got to hyper so I didn't take any today.
I feel like I'm better in certain aspects when I'm off it, and better in other aspects while on it. Though of course the down side to being off it is the increased social phobia, though I feel more control at times in certain situations, more confident with an air of' I don't give a ****- but then of course when I'm on it I am more sympathetic but then after a while start getting a bit too manic . .. not good. I can't strike a good balance.

Hello, AngstyLady. I suggest you print a copy of your post for your meds' prescriber and discuss the ramifications of your new habit.

taking your meds on and off is bad because you're withdrawing and re-introducing these chemicals to your body
i would think your body is saying something like "what are you doing to me!!?"

please tell your doc whats going on so you can be safe and either get off the meds or change them so they work better for you
you dont want to induce psychosis !

I would see if the doctor could come up with a better combo of meds that didn't cause you to get manic and then take them regularly or talk to your doctor about how to handle the symptoms when not on meds. Once you have taken a medication it may not work the same after you have stopped taking it. Good luck.
