Anyone else got it?

I am pretty much up poop creek without a paddle..

Because i got backpaid an amount from Employment Insurance last month, they took it from this month's check and now I have no way of paying it. And since I am already behind by four months, I have a feeling they arent going to want to wait until my disability clears the end of the month. If they would, I would be able to pay them off mostly in total since CPP is going to backpay me up to six months, and its been about four since ive applied, but ive been off longer than that.

I don't know what to do. I am pretty sure we are going to get evicted and I dont have the money to move into a new place. So me, and my three kitties might have nowheres to live come the end of the month.

my now ex, who is still my roomate was working but he got laid off, and since he made income they are taking that off next months check, which means we should have just about 200.00 for the entire month until my CPP clears.

I have tried applying for debt consolidation but they say i owe too much (doesnt make much sense to me)and my credit is too bad. I tried modest needs but they will only pay off the very last bit of it, in other words if i pay everything except 750, which is one month, they will pay the last. Or else they cant help me. Well I just dont know where I am supposed to haul this money from.

I know I am ranting I am just wondering if anyone has any good ideas, im not dealing very well with this. slowly shutting down, I can feel it happening. And I missed two Pdoc appointments because I have been sick for three weeks, so I dont even have that to help me.

Struggling. Feel like just hiding for the rest of the time until I get that dreaded letter.

I'm so sorry your financial troubles are so dire. I didn't understand much of your post cuz I don't know what the acronyms stand for, but in our town they have a group called the "Good Samaritans" that help people in need & also there is a county trustee that will help people in need. Perhaps call your local library to find the resources in your area. That's what I did when a woman in my support group was in basically the same situation you are in. Hope you can get some relief.--Suzy

Hi Rainbowzz,

Sorry you are struggling so hard. I wish I had some ideas, but don't know of anything.
I hope that everything will work out.
Wishing you the best.
Hugs,
Boopers

Thank you all.

Pat, thats a good idea, i should ask at the catholic churches around here and see if they can help any.

Its just triggering all my stress issues and its hard to remember not to freak out over something i cant do anything about right now. Gotta take one step at a time.

(((Rainbowzz))) I'm sorry you're suffering.

You might check into your state's social services. They often will have aid available. TANF comes to mind -- Temporary Aid to Needy Families. They will often give you food stamps and cash. Catholic Community Services is also a good resource, per Pat. Check with your community mental health clinic as they often will have resources, especially since you also have a qualifying MI.

Financial stress can lead to serious illness or exacerbate one. Please try to take extra special care of yourself.
