Question Needs a Reply -

I am ready to try and solve the last few remaining issue that are messing up my present life..... and with that I was wondering what thread you all feel this should go under?

My issues involve:
Sexual abuse, a wounded Marriage, Childhood Family Issues,
Porn, My feelings toward Men, My Dx of DID,
... and My Mind - My worse Enemy.

I understand your angst. Rhapsody, why not write your "post" in a PM and then send it to admin or a moderator, and let them decide from there? TC and thanks for the heads up

Yeah my issues would fit into all of those forums.................... but which one if I want to keep them all in one place-one forum? - so I can retrieve them easily when needed.

I am not for sure what help I need at this moment - I just want to get it all out and to receive some good supportive advice based on where I am in my life and how I feel, based on how my past and wounds have effected me and no one else..... I guess the kind of help I need can be decided on when I actually post.

OK. How about the abuse forum then? People who read there are expecting some touchy stuff automatically I think.

Good for you Rhapsody!! I'm proud of you for tackling these issues and continuing to work on yourself. Only good can come from all of it!

Here are my suggestions for you (I could be wrong about some of the threads) -

Sexual Abuse, Porn, Feelings towards men? - Survivors of Abuse

Wounded Marriage, Feelings towards men? Childhood Family issues - Relationships & Communication

DID - Dissociative Disorders

Like I said, they are my ideas, and I could be wrong about the threads, particularly since you didn't elaborate on what kind of issues you have with porn or your feelings about men.

Hmm - ............................

These would be my main issues:

1.) 11 years of unspeakable sick pervert sexual abuse by MEN (4 of them)

2.) Family issues and their lack of support for ME when I needed them the most

3.) My 20 year Marriage and His (past) Sexual Addiction (women & porn)

4.) My Dx of DID ten years ago - and how it effects me today

5.) Me being My own worst Enemy - the MIND is powerful and when wounded it is scary

Hey there.

I think, since most of this stems from a long ago source(s), if you want to put it all in one post, Survivor's would be the best place with a trigger icon. You could even warn at the top that this goes in several directions that most of which can stem from abuse and take it from there?

I've asked myself this several times in the past. Good question!

I will place my thread in Survivor's and that way any abuse or sexual talk will not come as a surprise to any one....... and YES - I will place a trigger icon on the thread & I will be sure to let people know when the topic is being changed to one of my other issues.
