Lately I have been thinking so much it leads to over thinking and then it gets so bad eventually the thoughts repeat and repeat in my head which I start to feel and believe those thoughts are true when I know deep down they are not ! But it becomes real and I feel convinced that is what it is ! Literally I am going crazy I need help ! If anyone on here has any good advice I would really appreciate the help before this gets worse ! Does anyone have any doctors or counsellors they recommend that could help? I am desperate !! This is ruining my life and ruining who I am as a person I feel like this is not me !! And its affecting my relationship bigtime !! Please help me !! :'( ..

This link is to a list of counselors in Winnipeg from Psychology Today. Each one has a short description of their specialty, a picture, and their phone number.

I know it's not easy but try to separate facts from fiction in your imagination. I am still working on this and with lots of practice it is starting to work.
Thanks for this!

Kindhearted, many people have this kind of obsessive thinking, where thoughts snowball into complete scenarios that one part of you knows are completely made up and another part of your mind just can't stop the ball from spinning into ever more complicated and upsetting patterns. When that happens, your entire body, including your adrenal glands, start responding as if everything is really happening and it can really impact one's moods and vitality. It feels pretty bad, but it doesn't mean you're going crazy.

It does mean you can use some help. You might need some medication and counseling to help you deal with this. Ripose gave you a good list, a place to start.

If you have a primary care physician you can also make an appointment and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist and therapist. It's good to get help with this sort of thing as soon as you can. I wish you well.
