Does any one blog here? Or at all?
I was thinking of doing a blog and giving my T the link...
Are "private" blogs really private?
Any thoughts?

I have a couple of blogs at Blogger and I can definitely recommend it. You can make it public, choose who can read your blog or make it completely private (you need a password to open it). And there are hundreds of layouts to choose from (you can also create your own if you know something about html and css). Plus it's ads free. I don't know much about PC blogs though - but I'm sure others will be able to tell you more.

Thank you Sparkling for the info!
I was thinking that maybe if I did I could type out in words what it is that screams out in my my head. Hopefully the T would read it before our sessions and in my thinking we could get on faster.

I wonder too if she'd bother reading it. PC Blogs and Blogging Question

I've never been much of s journalizer(?) because I figured what ever I had written would some day come back to bit me in the butt some how. PC Blogs and Blogging Question

I used to love to write and I think that by journaling I can get myself in the habit of the things I used to do.

I don't have one set up yet but a friend here has been showing me how her blog here works. Its really cool you can set your own options like for a bit she had hers set up as what she calls password coded so only the people she gave the password to could read her blog. you can turn your comments on or off if you want to know what people think of your blog and answer their questions but be careful my friend had problems with people swearing and putting up porn links and stuff on for comments so she has her comments turned off. another friend has a blog here too and she has blogs other places and sends her blog to people by email too.

With blogs you set what you want to use it for and how I like that but I also know people who had their blogs password protected but others were able to hack into it. something about once something is put on line its always on line. you can delete it and password it but computers get and pass information by satilights so once something is posted on line its somewhere in cyberspace (in some satalights memory chips and stuff) for anyone that knows how to, to read and do what they want with. Theres this one person I met on myspace that hacked into old emails that were floating in cyberspace that someone had deleted and they found them and retrieved them and sent them around as forwards. I checked with my college computer professor because I didn't believe that could happen but he said yes if the person has computer knowlege and computer programming skills they can locate deleted emails, blogs and stuff that people think are already gone and that the police sometimes use computer experts to do this for prosecuting crimes. So Im not sure if I will get a blog going or not.

Unfortunately, that's true. Once something's online, it's always there, retrievable by someone with the skills to do so.

I have a blog here at PC. I have found it to be very therapeutic. I thought about the privacy issues and the threat of hackers. I decided that although it is possible for a hacker to find my identity, it would be hard to do and not very likely. And it would not really get them anything. After all I am posting it for others to read, anybody could copy it and distribute it. I decided to post some very sensitive material because I think sometimes you have to take a risk and I feel the risk is worth taking. I am not that threatened by somebody discovering my real name and attaching it to my blog. I don't think they could do much of anything to hurt me. Overall, I feel the risk is minimal and worth taking. But that is just my opinion.
