Yesterday I sat on the sofa to watch a movie. On the table in front of me I had a remote for the tv, a remote for the DVD player, a remote for the stereo, 2 remotes without batteries, my cell phone, my son's cell phone, the cordles house phone and a new cordless phone for the new Vonage we are trying out for 30 days. So my question is, how can I possibly still feel disconnected?.............

Good question. Sometimes, I think technology makes us feel even more disconnected. We no longer engage with people face to face. We email, we text, we phone, we chat online, we get info from TV, computer and Radio, …all of this is good…but, I think, sometimes, we just need to talk face to face with people. 50 years ago—that’s what people did—they talked to each other in real life. Could you imagine?
