What type of disorder causes people to forget things when they get mad? Is that related to a dissociative disorder? Like if someone gets mad and they have a lapse in memory.

I don't know the answer to your question ... could it be that there is some kind of disconnect when the parts of the brain that are activated during rage shut down certain areas that may have been the root cause of rage, given particular circumstances and stemming from what caused the rage? I'm not sure but it's an interesting question. Maybe someone who knows can come forward and enlighten us.

Yes it is entirely natural, the body sends all systems to 'fight or
flight',which cuts off verbal skills. |

All I remember once is that I had heard that when you get angry you see red.....I never believed it until one time my H (at the time) pushed me to the point I started to feel RAGE......& I remember seeing nothing but this red color in front of my eyes....I couldn't see anything that that red color.....it was a scary feeling....but I definitely remember that.
I think that when one is that angry, all focus of the mind is totally on what has pushed you to that point & nothing else exists.....I think it's natural & had nothing to do with any specific disorder.
