I'm not sure how much of this I can take. This derealization is only making me get annoyed. It doesn't matter if I get good sleep or not I still feel like crap! And if I do something, like scratch my nose, it feels like it didn't happen. Now, I have double check everything I do. Anything from checking if I did in fact sneeze to did I just go restroom? I don't get it anymore. I'm fed up!!!! Also, since in the medical field, derealization is still being studied and thus no known proven treatment or med, even therapists are at a lost, I'm stuck! What would you guys do?

I have found forcing myself to do something very familiar, such as placing my fingers on my keyboard and then trying to begin posting a message helps me sometimes.
Most of the time I end just end up trying to ride it out and hopefully it only lasts a few minutes.
Basically it is a crap shoot on how long it lasts and if typing something will help.

Sorry I could not help more.

First step u need to see if you have a pattern. write down when the derealization happens, what you where doing right before, morning mood and notes of increased stress of the day if happens. if can also note what your derealization makes you think or feel, that may help as well.

if there is a pattern you maybe able to find a trigger that you can address.
