My wild St. Bernard "puppy" wrapped her lead around my foot on Monday evening, and then pulled me over.
Anyway I have been in the hospital for two days. Doctor wants me off my foot for two weeks. Hugs, EJ |

OMG!!! Yes, St. Bernard wild puppy could wreak some havoc, I suspect!
I have had some very bad falls in the past couple of years, the last of which necessitated using a walker for a few days, thanks to the loan from a friend. It is frustrating to be immobilized. I hope you mend very quickly! Love Patty |

Oh no!!! A broken foot will take a while to heal
  My puppy isn't as large, but he is stronger than me and almost has caused me problems...So sorry (((EJ)))) wondered where you went (after I got back, of course)

OUCH!!! - I am sorry to hear you have broken your foot and especially since I know how it feels first hand..... I have broken my left foot two different times in the exact same spot - doc says if it happens a third time then surgery it will be. May GOD bless you with a speedy recovery and a rest from any further pain. |

So sorry to hear about your broken foot. Be careful with those crutches. They can be even more dangerous if you aren't careful.

I'm on a walker to keep other dogs out from under my feet.
To get to a specialist who could help we had to drive 100 miles one way. Right now I don't expect to be on much. Thanks everyone for your good wishes. EJ |

so now you have to rest....if you do i hope you at least enjoy it. unbelivable what our animals can do!
i just want to say that keeping in good shape and learn how to fall peroperly could save you from a bunch of problems.... get well soon! |

I used to exercise just about every day until I had foot surgery two years ago. I have been in pain ever since. Instead of making my feet more stable the surgery made it more unstable. |
