So, I've been struggling on religion for a year or so. I'm in some real conflict. I mean, I've been really really anxious, angry, etc. And I've kind of abandoned religion. I used to consider myself a Christian, but lately I've had second thoughts. I don't really believe in Christianity anymore. I believe in some sort of creator, but I've told myself to focus on how to get a hold of my anger and anxiety, and my self esteem, and just try to live my life, and when I'm on my deathbed, then i'll think about religion. I've been experimenting though, And I tried a satanic chant, I don't know why, it was impulsive. This was about 2 weeks ago. Last night I had this really weird dream. I had a dream that There were these people being crucified, and that they were being lite on fire. Jesus was in the center of them. He was on a cross as well. When they went to pour the gas on him, and light him on fire, he wouldn't burn, the fire didn't even ignite. The dream was super weird. I'm not entirely convinced however. It could have been a result of thinking about religion over the past few days, but I don't know.

Hello The Madcap: I recall reading that a follower of the Buddha once supposedly asked him why he never talked about what comes after this life. His reply supposedly was because that was not what his followers needed to hear about. Elsewhere, I recall reading that the Buddha supposedly said: "Nothing is hidden." I take these two statements at face value.

It's my belief that if you follow the golden rules you need not worry about the next world. Be here in the now, do the best you can, forgive yourself and others for not always being the best.

I believe that God can use any means (including dreams)to communicate to us. That was a freaky weird dream you had...but the message is incredibly powerful.
