psychcentral(dot)com/disorders/histrionic-personality-disorder-symptoms/
I am suffering exactly the same what is described in this thread above, reading this thread explains everything which I am facing each day.
I don't know where to start and how to fix it but guide me how to help my self.
I don't want to have a personality like this, it ruined two of my major relationships.
My family is responsible for causing me this much suffering and yet I am too weak to leave them.

Hello active: I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. The answer here is to seek the services of a psychologist or mental health therapist &, if necessary, a psychiatrist. Mental health diagnosis & treatment are jobs for mental health professionals.

I recall reading the book Lost in the Mirror years ago. This is a book about BPD. It sounded SO much like me when I was young... not so much anymore. Many of us, I think, read mental health related things & believe we have found the explanation for why we are the way we are. Sometimes we're correct... sometimes not. But, in the end, what is necessary (if we cannot manage what's going on with us by ourselves) is to seek the services of professionals in the mental health field. I wish you well...

If you already been through this in your early age means it's a phase more than a sickness. I will definitely read this book and I am sure it will explain everything, seek out for professionals later.
What I figured out myself, I have histrionic personality disorder but it affected me more when I isolated my self. since yesterday I am controlling it and I am feeling well, although it's hard to control it. Since yesterday I am doing things not to show others but what is right, I haven't succeeded much but I am sure ill get to it, once I have more explanation to give to myself.

Meanwhile if you have anything please feel free to suggest!

Blessing to us All!

First of all, seek psychiatric help if you haven't done so already. There are a lot of ways to approach this including seeing your family doctor for a referral.

As for helping yourself, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a great form of therapy specific to personality disorders which you can do yourself. There are a wealth of resourceful books out there. Try to stick to workbooks, doing the worksheets over a period of time (it doesn't do you any favours to go through them in several sittings). Also, actually do the work and do so repetitively. Most DBT programs are designed around a 3 month period.
