This is an emergency. I will now have to leave the house in the rain, looking scary, so achey that I can barely move-- to get coffee.

I'm sick and out of coffee.I'm sick and out of coffee.

Ugh, I feel like crap. But coffee comes first.

one bottle of root beer
one bottle of orange Gatorade
one can of chicken noodle soup

I'm good to go.

I had the odd thing happen yesterday; I'd read that an apple will wake you up better than coffee. I thought to myself, "Yeah, right!" But yesterday when we came in from my sitting around waiting for my husband at the doctor's and reading/driving, etc. and I was barely awake, I thought I was a goner for a nap. Without thinking, nothing else much in the fridge, I ate an appel and realized 10 minutes later the sleepiness was gone. I'm going to have to experiment with that one but not first thing in the morning :-)

What an interesting piece of information Perna. Please keep us posted with the results of your experiment!

Sorry you're under the weather Pink. I too would have opted for a cup of cocoa in lieu of the coffee.

Hope you feel better soon!

I sure can relate to being out of coffee, when I feel so yucky and look like hell and its raining and all my cloths are in the wash. And where the heck is my purse? I sometimes think its a hint to quit ---just for awhile until I get a whiff of fresh brewed and there I go again. How about delivery by pigeon? We could start quite a network.
