Three days now.

I've tried Tylenol extra strength and Advil liquijels.

I KNOW its a tension headache, coming from my back, which is screwed up. Sometimes though it just happens like this and I basically have to wait it out and be tough.

Any advice on things I can do to not let it get to me?

Any poor you's I have the headache from hell I am ready for some of those too I have the headache from hell

I have had migraines that ended up being 24/7 for so long, I didn't know what is was not to have my head hurting.....only thing that helped me was a demoral shot in the ER....it stopped the pain & let my body relax a bit.

Maybe you need to get rid of the pain because the pain continues to make you even more tense & that ends up being a vicious circle.

My migraines weren't caused by tension in the long run & even the neck fusion didn't improve them....but that's a whole other story.

I can completely sympathize with you,
Debbie

If I get an awful headache, usually Tylenol or Advil will not work for me.

Normally I just lay in a dark room with a cold cloth over my head. Eventually I fall asleep and when I wake up it is gone.

What about going to a chriopractor?

Feel better soon, Rainbow.
