Yes, tomorrow. Wow!!!!! She called Tuesday and asked if I could start Wednesday! I went into panic mode, had to cancel with Grandma and start preparing. Then she called back and admitted she made a mistake, she had thought it was Wednesday and not Tuesday and the orientation is on Thursday lol!!!! Talk about relief.....called Grandma back and told her our plans are on.

I managed to get up at 6am. I'm hoping to get into a good enough schedule that I can wake up with PC before heading off to work.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I START WORKING TOMORROW!!!!!!

I managed to get up plenty early this morning. I hope I can keep that up. Everyone bust out your happy dance!!!!

Leaving in a little over an hour. I need to have plenty of time because I hurt when I wake up so its hard to get moving, and I can't imagine not waking up with PC. So I'll be getting ready soon for my first day!!! Wow!!!!!

Let us know how you get on! Somebody ought to make a "law" where certain sites online (PC :-) are necessary at work like certain animals, reasonable accomodation, LOL.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I couldn't post last night to let you know how it went. I was so exhausted!!! Not working for over a year and a half and then getting back to work full time with MS.....yeah it kicked my butt.

Very cool job. I'll be learning so much there!! The office is quite old school, not computerized. They still use the big handwritten charts. There's lots of documenting. Results from the draws come straight back to the office and I have to look at critical values and reference the old values. I'm learning coding too, just a little bit, whats necessary for the blood tests to be covered by insurance. Definitely learning some excellent skills for the resume. Maybe down the road I'll be able to make enough part time with all the skills I'll be learning.

My coworkers are very cool. All women aside from the doctor. Met the doctor briefly but he's very busy. Everyone seems very intimidated by him. My boss told me just to ask him questions when I don't know something and I'll earn his respect. Doctor's are people too.....I understand the intimidation though. I haven't had the opportunity to ask him a question but I can't wait until I do.

Anyway, its just so much that it totally made me brain dead last night. After I got home from the meeting I collapsed on the couch and just moved to make my lunch and eat food when Brian brought it in. Collapsed into bed before 8:30 to relax.

I know my excitment probably isn't coming across like it did lol. I'm up early enough to wake up with PC though. Still very tired. So glad I didn't start on a Monday!! Everyone bust out your happy dance!!!!

Hopefully I'll be more active here this weekend.

So very exciting! Hope you figure out how to pace yourself again. All the ins on doctors we can get from you and how to approach them. That will be great.

LOL, I forgot their handwriting; that alone would be intimidating/challenging to me. I saved a note from a boss I had in 1973 just to remember his lousy handwriting :-)

Haha yeah his is some of the worst I've seen, and I've seen a lot of docs writing. We get off early on Fridays, so I'll have to find a way to make up the time during the week without working late. Probably start taking 15 minute lunches.
