Nothing feels real right now , my body doesn't feels like it belongs to me. I feel like I'm fading. I am fading. I feel like I'm submerged in water ,I can't hear anything , I can't feel anything. It's like watching a movie. Am I real? It doesn't feel like it, I don't think I'm real. I can't be real.
I don't like feeling like this, I wish someone can touch me and tell me that I'm real before I fade away.

your post is making me cry. i utter those words a lot myself, i can feel the pain and how the pain turns into numb and how that distorts reality into a fake into fiction. into questions you can not answer.

 Sounds like derealization or depersonalization. There is some helpful information on this in the DD forum. It can be part of depression or PTSD, I hope you have a therapist you can share your feelings with, in the meantime we are hear listening and caring.

I relate to those feelings too. I've had depression, ADD and anxiety since childhood. Things have gotten so much worse in the past few years, since menopause. I used to be driven with creativity and have lost interest in most everything. I live alone, don't work, survive on disability income, and my life feels unreal and unlived most of the time. I hope that you find something that can help ground and comfort you. I wish that for myself and all others who are also suffering.

I think it is called derealization....I feel that way most of the time....thus my need for feeling at a much deeper level than most.
