Early this month I was diagnosed as bipolar ADHD and social anxiety disorder.

A lot of things have gotten better: I can focus better, my moods don't drop or raise as much and I get less anxious around people and don't get as depressed. I'm taking Adderall XR 10s, Zoloft 25s, and Depakote ER 500s currently. All the nurses say my doctor will probably increase dosage. . .

But still there's a couple things that aren't fixed. For one, I get really mad easily. I take things too offensively when someone talks too me and I get into verbal fights a lot. I also get jealous really easily. Like I prefer talking to friends one on one and not a whole group cause all the other people make me jealous for some reason. It makes me depressed. Lastly although my medicine is supposed to help hyperactivity, I still find it hard to stay in one place.

I'm just wondering if my dose is too low or if maybe I have something else I wasn't dagnosed yet with.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

hey Sam, its still pretty early to really be able to tell the full effect that your meds may have on you. your role here is to be patient and work with your therapist to get them dialed in as best as they can be. you've been given a real challenge, but you can do this! keep us posted with your progress or if you just need to "vent" this is a good place to do it !

bluefusionxl, I don't think of meds as fixing things--they just help. It does take awhile for the meds to kick in. The anger and jealousy might be something you will need to work on in therapy or on the forums or something like that...

I would wait it out and see if you feel better, after a few months on the meds...And talk to your doctor about your feelings.
