If I've been short with anyone, failed anyone, dissapointed anyone, I'm sorry. Right now I'm dealing with too many things on my plate and even though I try to put my best foot forward I fail at it.

I feel like I'm getting pushed from too damned many directions and I've felt that being "strong" has become a curse because no matter how much you give, there is still more expected. I feel used and there never seems to be any appreciation for what I try to do. No understanding of my boundaries, no respect for them! I'm not allowed to feel bad or have problems of my own. I've got deep pockets and a constantly bulging pantry! If my peace gets disturbed, tough ******! They have a right to swear some of the filthiest words I've ever heard at the top of their lungs and I don't have a right to complain or try to put a stop to it. He can case my property at length if he wants, he can call the cops because I get tickled and let out a short "AH!" He can call the cops because he doesn't like the sound of my doves... at night and keep him awake??? Yeah right! He can call the fire dept. because he doesn't like the way our completely legal fire ring is burning and we have the gall to have BBQ charcoals burning at the same time?? He can wash down his mobile home every single day and then wash garbage and weeds down the street, driving everyone's water bill sky high but my husband can't park his car in front of our mobile home or he calls the cops, who by the way, don't have any jurisdiction but have to roll anyway! The same for the fire department!! But they have to roll on anything and everything just in case!! The idiot from Animal Control has NO CLUE what doveS sounds like. Has NO CLUE that most birds DON'T SING AT NIGHT!! If he had to chase an animal, he'd be dead of a heart attack in the first two strides!

If I call the manager, she turns it around on me and it's all my fault or I'm playing "tit for tat" with the idiot. There is never any resolution when you call HER! She's in her late 80's but the ***** won't hang it up. She's got too much YUMMY power over all of us! She tries to intimidate by talking down to us as if we were two year old IDIOTS! I don't intimidate. I GET PISSED!! I don't get even, I GET AHEAD!

I'm trying to type up, scan, put together, collate my package for the restraining order and the idiot neighbor has my printer. When I ask for it back, he has all kinds of excuses why he can't right now and throws a hissy fit because I demand! But if he wants a ride to the store to get cigarettes, or candy, or milk, or whatever... my husband has to drop everything RIGHT NOW and take him! What the hell is wrong with this picture???

ENOUGH!! ENOUGH!!

A lot is wrong with that picture. {{{{{{septembermorn}}}}}}

You should get a notarized letter from Copernicus explaining to this guy that sun does not revolve around him and that he has to give your printer back... NOW. You'd love to bring him to buy some cigarettes and candy but gosh darn it you don't have the time because you have to copy all of that info by hand now because you don't have your own printer!

Wish I had some answers but at least here no one expects you to be strong all the time or to give until it hurts and not receive anything in return. At least we can offer a place to vent and some understanding and some well deserved empathy. {{{{{{septembermorn}}}}}}

I feel for you. I like Dex's answer better than mine though, because he made me laugh, and I needed that today too.

LOL Leave it to you to make me laugh! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Dave}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

I got the printer back and yesterday. When I was mad, I warned Jerry that if I saw him drop everything to take this jerk to the store, I'd slash his tires! LOL I didn't mean it, but he got the picture.

Thanks for not trying to give me answers. I've got them. I know what I have to do, but sometimes... well... I've just gotta get it off my chest. You try your best... oh, nevermind. You know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the laugh. I really needed that to defuse all the other crap. Sometimes, laughter is like pulling that last little piece of crap that's keeping the water from draining out of something that's about to overflow and WHOOOOOSH! Everything comes down to a normal level and you can function again.

You've got a gift, ya know? Too much to deal with

>> Yup! He made me laugh, too!

Actually in hindsight I think it might have been a bad suggestion... As concidering his age, he might not have understood what you meant by "printer," you might have found Mr. Copernicus showing up on your doorstep with Mr. Guttenberg in tow.

LOL You haven't given me any ideas that I haven't already had! Hubby keeps a weed sprayer full of weed spray in the shed. Don't think I haven't thought of sneaking over and spraying the Scum's plants! LOL Decided to take the high road, though, and that's why I'm filling out Restraining Orders on him! Let him even LOOK like he's coming my way and his patooey is in JAIL! LOL The cops have had it with him, too. Too much to deal with

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Jillers}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Why don't you come over here and spout lawyer-eze to him and scare the pee water out of him! He won't understand a word, though! LOL

LOL Nah... the neighbor that had my printer is 28 yrs old, but he's mentally challenged... to a point! He thinks he knows all about computers and he knew exactly what I was talking about! He lives down the street from me.

The neighbor I'm serving a Restraining Order on has to be at the very least 60 and lives right across the street from me. I overheard him telling another neighbor that his teachers in grade school thought he was mentally challenged, too, but later changed their minds. Ha! Yeah, right! He's more than mentally challanged, he's got a personality problem, too. No one likes him. I wonder why??? Too much to deal with

One of the policemen that came out to try and find a resolution advised me to carry a small bat with me. Ooooh! For the chance to use it on his knees!!!! Too much to deal with

I am sorry you have so much on your plate. I hope it gets easier and you can deal with the neighbor. He sounds a little crazy in a bad way. You are good enough and you are smart to take care of yourself. I wish you peace.

You're right. I'm not the only one that has that opinion of him. Some have called him "unstable" and others have called him "a mental case." I kept my mouth shut on that one because if they knew me better, they'd call me "mental," too. Too much to deal with hehehe
