Well it went good. He felt so bad about yesterday. I told him it was not his fault, I just freaked out. He had to kind of giggle; we both did. He said he would never do that unless I had a plan to "end all" and he knew about it. Anyway, He is phoning my regular psyciatrist on Monday to arrange hospital. He wants me to go in and talk with him. He has more of my history. He said that he wanted to avoid hospital so the lawyers wouldnt eat it alive; but when he saw my cuts; he was very concerned. He asked me if I felt that the loss of my baby triggered this; I broke down completely and nodded yes. He said that there is just too much piled on my plate and we need to sort through this mess. He gave me meds though and I agrued with him. I was so frustrated I started to stutter and could not get it out. He saw my frustration and wrote the presciption anyway. He pleaded with me to at least start it and discuss it with my other doc when I see him. So I will hear more next week. He said if I run into an emergency with the self harm to contact him. We talked about when I have to take the kids to dad's and I said that this is my biggest fret right now. I told him that after I take them is when I would be at most risk. He realizes this too. So there we go.

Thanks for the encourgment and support. I will post more when I know more.

This is just awesome... You are getting help and it really seems like the people around, you T and your Doc, not only want to help but also understand the situation and want to make sure they take everything into account to figure out how to proceed.

Keep working at it and keep us informed. I am also really glad you can look back at yesterday and giggle. The only thing that worried me about that was not at all what happened, just the fear that it might keep you from getting the treatment you need. Instead you followed through and tried again, with good results this time.

Good luck.

((Dexter)); thank you again. You sent chills through me just knowing how much you care and how wonderful you have been. I am so relieved that this is finally coming. I want to get better and I need help to do so. I know it will be hard and draining emotionally; but it will be such a release to deal with this the right way.
I wish I could meet all of you. That would be so cool. I used to think that there are not people that care anymore; there is; just have to find them. And in here, I found many.

Love;
Elizabeth

((Sky)), ((Fuzzy)), ((SS)); thank you all. I know u all are here; thats the best part. Wellbutrin is what he precribed. Anyone else take this before? Would love some info on it. I am going to look it up and see what I can find out about it.

I'm on wellbutrin, here they mix it with an SSRI. I love it, made a big difference. Good luck. You may want to ask yourself what is worse, starting a new drug or killing yourself? I'd go for the drug.

Wellbutrin is what is finally working for me after going through many different things for many months with no results.

I am taking the Wellbutrin XL, and no bad side effects from it at all for me. They gave it to me because I had been sleeping so much, and Wellbutrin can have an "energizing" effect. It helped a lot.

The only problem I have is that I have to remember to take it in the morning. If I wait until even late morning, it keeps me awake at night. As long as I take it early I am fine, and in fact I am sleeping better than I have been for awhile.

At first I was worried that the Wellbutrin might have been increasing my anxiety level a bit so the doc added Celexa which I take at night. Recently we cut down to a half dose of the Celexa and that with the Wellbutrin seems to be the "magic combination" for me. The Celexa dose is small enough that the small sexual side effects are not problematic, no other side effects at all really, and it helps me sleep and curbs my anxiety, and the Wellbutrin keeps me out of bed all day and I am now feeling like myself again.

Of course everyone is different and will react differently... if the Wellbutrin isn't your "miracle cure" then there are other things to try, but for me, after 8 months and maybe 5 different meds, it finally did the trick.

Yeah I tried it... it isn't a regular ssri but it came out of the same research... either it works for you or it doesn't and you try something else if not... but you got good odds that it will help. Glad you are trying something...
