So tomorrow i am 23 years old ( i guess by the time some of you will see this post it will be "today"

Time to say goodbye to 22

How it was for you, member who are older than me, what stage of life wat it for you, 23rd year of your life?

younger members - how do you expect yourslef to be?

i got to a point where i am a third year student...graphic desing (don`t you know...lol) and that i have no boyfriend and am not ready to be a mother but don`t feel the NEED for a boyfriend that much
i don`t have a driving license yet 23

i got a start of living on my own more independent, and for being TRUELY independent all that is left for me is to start supporting myself finansically, which i will do when a graduate, with God`s help.

I came to appreciate myself and this life i have AS IT IS and living more simple. doing my hobbies and achieving my dreams more OUT OF LOVE than out of ambition, and being straight forwards with simplicity of this life and aiming for CALM and my natural aliveness...

I came to honestly and sincerily loving God

((((((((((((((( lady ))))))))))))))))) Wishing you a very Happy Birthday tomorrow! May you enjoy and savor each and every one of them in the years to come!

With every year that we grow older, there is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on what we have lived through and learned in the previous year. It sounds like you are doing just that!

What I have found over the years is that the 10 year marks (20,30,40,50 etc) bring about some very huge changes in how we live, how we think, we re-evaluate our direction and what is important to us during those years. What we found important at 20 is completely different at 30 or 40 or 50 etc. To me, it's been a wonderful thing to look back and see where I've come from and where I have arrived to....and to dream of where I will be going next.

Happy birthday! I had just moved out of my parents house when I was 22 into a house with another girl that didn't work out and so found an apartment on my own where I lived for 13 years. It was a fine time learning more about myself and what life was about and finding my good therapist and getting braces on my teeth (and paying for them myself since I was 30, that was a big milestone in my realizing I could take care of myself well).

Congratulations!
I am only a few yaers older (28). You are very wise for your age! When I was 23 I studied and underwent psychocounseling. I learned that you should take live as it is and not as you think it should be. And off course have a lot of fun.

Lots of love

Happy birthday!

Unfortunately, that age was bad for me. My marriage was on the rocks, I was out of work, I had a serious drug problem, and I wasn't yet treated for any of my mental problems.

That said, I was having a wonderful time. I didn't do the drugs for nothing.

Happy birthday,

23 was a great time for me. I had a good job, was sharing an apartment with a girlfriend in a really cool area of the city, and I thought I could do anything. I think that that was also the year I learned to drive. I sometimes wish I was still in my 20's before my mental health problems really started and before my addiction problems got bad. But looking back now, how I was living in my early 20's, work a holic & binge drinking, were kind of foreshadowing the chaos that my life became in my 30's.

Hope 23 is an awesome year for you.

I'm glad you had a great birthday. I am sending you best wishes for an amazing year.

23 was a good year for me. I had been living with my husband (then fiancee for two years) I graduated with my bachelor's degree and began working on my graduate degree. I got my first full-time job that was (sort of) in the field of psychology/human services. I had been engaged since I was 21 and it was my last year before we finally got married. It was a year of a lot of wedding planning. We made the decision to leave NY the following year and move to Philly.

Now I'm looking at 27 in less than a month 23
