"For Always" by Josh Groban right now, but earlier I was listening to Jerry Lee Lewis and then McArthur Park by Richard Harris. On another play list I have Tennessee Ernie Ford singing "16 Tons" and "Milk 'em in the Morning Blues" as well as many of his spiritual songs. I'm 61.

That's funny because I was just listening to Pink Floyd -- Wish you were here. I really love the songs off "The Wall".

Right now it's S.T.'s "How will I laugh tomorrow?"

Quite an eclectic mix of music huh? LOL.

I love Matchbox 20 too ladies! Josh Groban is cool too.

Now do you believe in Rock and Roll? Can music save your mortal soul? Then can you teach me how to dance real slow..."

You get out of breath too??? LOL....I'm listening to James Taylor...so soothing... ((((((SEPT)))))))

"When you're down and troubled and you need a helping hand, and nothing, oh nothing is going right......
Close your eyes and think of me and soon I will be there, to brighten up even your darkest night.....
Just call out my name, and you know wherever I am...I'll come running, to see you again.... Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you've gotta do is call and I'll be there..
yeah, yeah, yeah,
you've got a friend....."

Hope the dishes got soaked real good, my friend.

Take Care.

LOVE James Taylor and especially that song! We're on the same page, my friend. What is playing on your stereo RIGHT now>>>> Well, except for the dishes. LOL Yep! They got a really good soaking! They're all done now and throughly disinfected. What is playing on your stereo RIGHT now>>>>

"Try to remember the kind of Sept. when you were a mellow and callow fellow. Try to remember and if you remember... follow. Try to remember when life was so tender that no one wept except the willow. Try to remember when life was so tender and dreams were kept beside your pillow...Try to remember when life was so tender that love was an ember about to billow..." (S-I-G-H!) I think that's enough of remembering! What is playing on your stereo RIGHT now>>>>

Has anyone heard Johnny Cash sing "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails or
"The Mercy Seat" by Nick Cave. He really blew me away by the way he recorded songs that were out of the "country" mainstream.....I admired his spirit so much for that. I'm listening to Nick Cave now. "Long Black Veil".......I'm still 61.......

Sweety, are you talking about the Statler Bros? I've got practically everything I can find on the internet. I'm only missing one or two songs that I didn't really care for. I've even got their hymns!

Gosh dang, you guys.......this has turned into one of the more active threads here. Thanks for looking for some of my stuff, ktp. The McGarrigle Sisters are Canadian. They recorded an album in the 70s with The Swimming Song on it that just does it for me! I will look for the lyrics for you.....xoxox

HEART LIKE A WHEEL

Some say the heart is just like a wheel
When you bend it you can’t mend it
But my love for you is like a sinking ship
And my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean

They say that death is a tragedy
It comes once and it’s over
But my only wish is for that deep, dark abyss
For what’s the use of living with no true lover

And it’s only love
And it’s only love
That can wreck a human being and turn him inside out
That can wreck a human being and turn him inside out

When harm is done no love can be won
I know it happens frequently
What I don’t understand, "Oh please God, hold my hand"
Is why it should have happened to me

And it’s only love
And it’s only love
That can wreck a human being and turn him inside out
That can wreck a human being and turn him inside out

Some say the heart is just like a wheel
When you bend it you can’t mend it
But my love for you is like a sinking ship
And my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean

And my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean
