what sucks worse is when i told my kids why i was a little sad this morning they all said "who's that?" makes me feel old.

OMG I had no idea, I haven't turned on the TV all day! I'm surprised it isn't headline news on Yahoo. :-(

Yes it is sad....I loved George!!! Always will....he had such a great way about it....always put a smile on my face.

Even today to thnk about his description of pot or Mary Jane as he called it can still put a smile on my face. i grew up pretty STRAIGHT (IN the old definition of the word) and I learned about a whole new world back then because my EX happened to own his records.

 He lived a long time considering the drug use and issues he had early on. He really changed stand up comedy... and not always in a good way, imo. Push that envelope big time.

Maybe, but he had great insights even if a bit crude sometimes. Pushing the envelope is what made him great.
 I'm going to miss him.
