Hello... I am home from the Hospital -

Just wanted to check in and let all my PC Friends know that I am home from the hospital and doing well.

I still have a certain amount of pain and discomfort - I am using the pain meds my doctor gave me (on the dot every 4 hours) and I have to carry 2-3 pillows with me every where I go in the house... as I dare not sit down with out them.

I go to the doctors tomorrow for my pre-op appointment and if all checks out I will get this awful cath removed.

Hope to be back on PC real soon.

They did the complete bladder pexy with a mesh sling...... and they had to remove some scared tissue from around the urethra that was blocking my urine flow along with my prolapsed bladder.

OUCHIE - 3 weeks.......
Praying that my cath does not have to stay in that long.... as I can handle the pain & discomfort that came from the surgery, but that darn cath - it just out right hurts.

I have to go for now - as all this sitting up at the computer has made my stomach nauseated.

Hope to back on PC real soon.... when I can sit longer than five minutes with out getting sick or lite headed.

Thank for all the PRAYERS.

I hope you have a speedy recovery! Please let us know how it turns out. I am supposed to have the sling proceedure, but I've been putting it off.

Hey, Rhapsody, I´m new here but I´m familiar with hospitalization for major depression and hipomania. I haven´t read any threads but I hope you are feeling renewed and stronger after your treatment. Please check my profile and write when you wish. Hugs.

I am doing much better today and my dear husband is being so GREAT at taking care of me and my daily needs.

I still have some internal pain and I have to take it easy for another week per my doctor orders, therefore, I will try to post as I can in the coming weeks.

(((((((((((((((Rhapsody))))))))))))),

I feel so out of it....I am sorry I didn't read or know about your surgery until just reading about it now. I am glad the surgery went well, but am praying for a speedy recovery & complete healing so you can be back to yourself in no time.

Gentle hugs,
Debbie
