i guess all you can do is say grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
sorry, just i dunno, just grrrrrrrrrrring... do hope that is ok??? this isn't meant to have any responses.. just life can be tooo much sometimes and i am screaming giant grrrrrrrrrrs...and ifn i don't say the grrrrrrrrs I will expode inside... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() nobody hears me. i don't want to be polite and invisible any more. i want to say it like i see it, ifn i be right or wrong, it doesn't matter. just so it can be said. ifn i step on their toes, i'm sorry. ifn i hurt their feelings, please forgive me... ifn i %#@&#! them off, tuff %#@&#!......! |

i wanted to say i did notice you there in vids and thought we had some good talks.. ive been incredibly busy and i dont read in all the forums so i may have missed something you said before and if i did, im sorry... sometimes things just have to be said and thats how it is so i hope you are careful with yourself tho cause ive learned that grrrring off in general always causes me to feel badly inside... still, i dont know how else i might have gotten it out of me if i didnt grrrrr somewhere..... but i was alaways cautious and tried not to harm others during the grrrrrrrrr.. that just seems to confuse people cause then they would grrrrr back and pretty soon, no one agrees about who or what the grrrr really is all about and they just want the grrrrrr ers to stop..... and as a grrrrer i never got what i wanted... which was really peace of mind the whole time (at least thats how it was in my case) i hope the grrrrrs dont visit you too long... ![]() |

it does feel better just to get those grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs out... doing better today.. just a tad drained. but all the grrrrrrrs were worth it..

my grrrrrrrrs yesterday were not for anyone at pc.. just was overwhelmed and they spilled out...
am at a different frame of mind today, which is good.. guess letting the grrrrrrs out in writing is a "good thing" |

![]() i'm going home tonight or tomorrow, so i will then be away from the people that are making me grrrrrrrrrrrrr... hmm depression.. funny, i don't know if depression has bitten me again. i have taken the depression test so many times that i don't know if i have learned what to answer to pass or fail .. may have learned to "lie" to myself, which doesn't help me one bit.. grrrrrs have passed... grrrrrrs gave me a headache, soooooo lots of "sleep" time for me today..... When life gets to be too much, I don't grrrr!! I get incredible anxiety & feel paralyzed & get the phsycial as well as mental symtoms of anxiety--can't concentrate or make a decicion, chest pains, shallow breathing, etc. I've learned a few tricks that work for me. First of all, I go into "survival mode" & figure out what I need to do to survive & then I cancel the rest of life.
I cancel coffee dates, meetings, doc appts., groc shopping, getting gas, folding laundry, etc. I figure out what I need to do. Sometimes it is to exercise, sometimes to rest or read (though usually hard to concentrate on a book). I always do the deep breathing techniques the dov taught me & the self-taught about how I've been here before & I will make it through again thoughts & reassurances. I fix a simple meal for myself, but my husband is on his own for dinner & he does all the dishes. I'm usually overwhlemed by paperworkk & backup of chores around the house so I will tackle one small job of paperwork in the afternoon after I feel refreshed, then I feel like I've accomplished something. I had one of these paraylzying days a couple months ago & dropped off the board of an organization that was draining me as I haven't yet figured out how to express my boundaries so I'm a "yes person" & was getting drowned in projects (plus I'm a perfectionist--bad combo for a bipolar wih anxiety). So that was a good step that my therapist helped me do. i was feeling like I was letting people down to do it, but my mental health has to come first or how can I even help one person in my support group if I'm a "basket case?"--Suzy |

I am trying to think at which point the "grrrs" surface. I am thinking when the stress/anxiety becomes a level or two above being overwhelmed, I either have to then grrrrrrr to let it out, or I will burst. Actually, I am not sure what causes the grrrrs or when. Looks like I had a bad case of the grrrs tho.. ![]() Sounds like your "survival mode" is a healthy way to deal with being stressed or overwhelmed. Self care is necessary for everyone to remember, "especially when life gets to be too much". If we don't take care of ourselves, nobody else will. Right? |
