........help.........starbucks lost my drivers license

and i need it to take a nursing exam its my only ID I have its the last testing date............they said when i lost my ID they had it, would save it, then i got there and it was lost.........they promptly dismissed me saying with a grin well call you when we find it ok? i sat stunned OK! OK! they said

I am sorry that you lost your id, is there any chance of getting it replaced? Hopefully they will find it at starbucks soon, if they don't you should call the police to report that your id is missing in case someone tries to use it. Good luck

When's the exam? If it's tomorrow, I'd call the school, explain the problem and ask how can they help (you don't have a school id?). It's it's next week, I'd go to the DMV tomorrow and get a new license, report yours stolen right away. What a hassle, so sorry.

Call the local licensing bureau and make an appointment to pick up a replacement. It's on file, complete with your picture. You could just go and wait in line and hope they have time to get to you...

Replacement licenses take 4 or 5 days to come in the mail and the nursing exam is tomorrow I do not have school ID this is th exam to be admitted to nursing school.

Call the school/exam place and explain the problem, see how they can help; I assume you have your "paperwork" telling you when the exam is, etc. Do you live at home with a parent? See if they can come with you and certify that you are who you say you are, first proving they're your parent, etc.

Any of your previous school teachers you know well enough to contact who might be able to call the school/help you? Did you have to have references for your application to nursing school? One of them can certify that you are you?

But call the school and find out if they can be helpful and take something else in your circumstances, even if you have to bring a boatload of other documents (birth cert, personal pictures with you and your parent together and your parents' driver's license, etc.)

Call DMV and make sure you can't go down there today and get a new one on the spot (to heck with mailing!). Do you have a passport? That would do.

I am sure you are not the only person to of lost a licence, how about phoning them up ? They may allow a birth certificate or passport.

Well, try and just give them your DL number, with promise of producing the Picture part with it with the new one? Sorry your DL bureau is so slow. Here in FL you can walk in and get your replacement on the spot...just like the new ones.

Can the DMV print you a temp?? Explain the situation - have a note from the testing ppl...?
