When I came home for a quick visit tonight, it appears that my PC won't turn on. A bit unexpected but... A bit unexpected but... so I'm using my brother's comp right now. So um, I won't be online alot. (he uses his computer alot to play WoW anyways...plus of my paranoia of people spying on me in general)

So, it looks like until I get my computer fixed (I don't know how...)
OR, I just save up and buy myself a new one
I'm not going to be online alot. Period.
Sorry folks.

I guess it works out well for me, one less distracton from my summer homework lol...

Thanks everyone.

I know more then a few tech geeks in real life anyways so I probably just have to go over to ther house with the tower or something (because the monitor and speakers work fine). My computer is tempermental anyways, so it's no suprise that it would just bite the dust on me like this. I think it has something to do with a vicious thunderstorm we had last night (which scared the crap out of me)

If nothing can be done though, after a few google searches, I found out that I could afford a Mac laptop (which my step-dad insists that we get if we ever get a computer at their place) so long as it's an older model and not a new one. I'm not the kind of kid who needs new things anyways, so long as it works A bit unexpected but...

Besides, I perfer the old Mac style anyways...what is it with new computers and other stuff that has NO color? It's supposed to look modern, but I enjoy my color lol.

If your computer is a Mac (or maybe even if it is not) one of the symptoms of a dead backup battery is that it will not boot. Might check that to start.

Well, I'm borrowing our old computer. It's really slow, but it still works and gets an internet connection so long as a wireless thingie is hooked up (don't you just love all of this technological jargon?) and my tower is going over to my step-dad's friend's place...and let me just say that he has got to be the BIGGEST tech geek in all of New York state, I'm serious! A bit unexpected but...

I don't have a mac, I use windows, the computer itself is a Compaq.

...I'm a little disapointed with this computer though, I thought it would still have all of the poetry and stuff that I wrote on it years ago, but apparently all of that data was wiped! Well, easy come, easy go I guess. A bit unexpected but...
