I've been having terrible nightmares for over 3 weeks.

Last night..........

I was run over by a dump truck and in the dream i could hear myself screaming and then all of sudden the dump truck turned into a 4 door car that was dragging me down the road...still screaming.....i then saw a figure of myself running after the car shouting at it to stop.

How do I make these terrible nightmares go away? Nightmares

I would start by trying to figure out what they are trying to say to you....unless you can tie them back to some movie or TV show or something you read in a book, it might be your subconscious warning you about a danger you see in your life.

Sometimes after we figure things out, they will actually go away.

Otherwise, like with me, the nightmares that hit after a trauma I went through....nothing controlled the nightmares except for seroquel......but that was because of a specifit tramatic event in my likfe.

I have several nightmares a night....

Try putting each nightmares down on paper...all details... then... you can look for the common theme.... if there is one..like...for me.. it is fear of being alone right now..so.. that shows up... in my nightmares... so at least I know... what I need to work on...

Also my previous T... told me.. that putting the dream down on paper.. took the "power" from the nightmare..

And finally - I have never been able to do this... but people suggest.. that after finding the theme... you can visualize.... yourself... as powerful... like... you have great strength.. and can be "super power".... this came from yet another of my former T's....
