I went to my doc today and had a med check and regular, how ya doing? As we were speaking I told her that I am wondering about my coming home most days and retiring to my room for computer, phone, reading. I Have been worried that it's a depression thing. She said that for many years I have been doing for others, and I give all day long. She said if I went home and went to sleep she would be concerned but just having quiet time is good for me and I deserve it. What a relief. She is such a lovely person. Official permission to not feel guilty. I joked with her that if I was asked I would say doc's orders. On another note, FYI. Vit C, 2000 units a day has given me serious tummy pain and heart burn. DUH, figured that one out all by myself. So, no vit c for me for a bit.

So, it finally takes a doc to get it into your head that it's ok to have some quiet time for yourself. Doc's Orders I'm glad you are taking care of yourself though. You deserved some time for yourself. Often we give so much to others we forget ourselves.

((((((((((((((((((((((((ww)))))))))))))))))))))) hugs and love ya

((((ww)))) glad to hear you have a caring doc. My T just told me the same type of thing--- for this weekend---- shut off phones and don't DO anything but rest! sigh.

PS 1000 of C is considered a high dose, but good for those of us who need extra C. Maybe just cut back some. Your body throws off the excess anyway, and this might save the tummy?

Thanks for your hearty approval everyone. I actually had to force myself to go out for Pizza with my son and daughters and hubby tonight as I was tired and very crabby with my spouse. However, we had a good time and now we get to deal with the continuing saga of teenage romance and parental boundaries. Oh to be 17. So here I am back in bed and I mean it this time. Hope everyone is happy and well.

((((wisewoman)))) It is always great when we hear something we want to do is actually good for us. Usually it is the other way around. I hope you can relax and enjoy!
I also have teenagers so I can relate to your saga as well.

Take care,

I wish I could be young AND in love again. There is such magic in that foolish, blind passion.
