Hey all. I just wanted to say that I am really sorry for not being able to keep up much. I try to read as much as I can. Between this flu bug hanging around, kids being ill, and the family issues; its been hard to keep up. The most recent issue with my lovely family is the fact that they don't want us with them at Christmas. They told my mom that they don't want my son around cause of his behavior. I was between upset, mad, and resentful. My mom said it would not be the same without us but.... not sure now if we should go. My son is always guilty until proven innocent and it ticks me off big time. Their kids are far from angels but my son is always accused when something happens. Not sure what to do...
I do read posts when I can, not knowing what to say lately. I have a hard time responding and don't understand why. Afraid to say the wrong thing.... not sure. But I do miss everyone here. Want you to know I think of you all daily. Wondering whats going on.... how you are coping. I do feel bad being caught up with so much other stuff, but I do care about u all. Thinking of my friends here and wishing you the best.... but I will talk to u all soon.... Justy

you know sometimes you need to take some time for yourself, to get better, you shouldn't have to feel like you need to appologize. I know I do it too though! *hugs*

For petes sake Girlfriend what the heck you got to be sorry for!! GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN!! LOL. WE miss you too hon ,but you got yourself and your family to take care of . WE know this , and we undertstand too!! ((((((((JUSTY))))))) Please dont worry about not being here all the time and posting. I am not good at posting either and I Do have my days where I dont know what to say or I have to think about what I do want to say and dont post right that moment. There is nothing to feel bad about OK? AND as for your family, that is totally wrong of them. And I think no matter what , you need to make your presence known at Christmas and tell them that your family is just as much a part of the FAMILY as what theirs is! STAND YOUR GROUND THERE GIRLFRIEND! Your son has a condition that cannot be helped. That is no reason why all of you should be pushed away out of a gathering!!! That little boy is special , and they should know this and love him for who he is. Just like they expect you to love their little BRATS LOL!!! RIGHT? Hang in there Sweetie . Your gonna make it! I've been wondering how you've been getting on! I'm glad things are getting better for you, and it's especially good that you no longer need to have your IV! It's no problem that you havent been posting much. That you are ok, is the most important thing.

HEHEHE, you stinkers are too funny. I like Charlie Brown. I watched him all the time. I like the Christmas one. I call tryin BRATTTTTT. That's my favorite word; lolol. And I was telling some of u about my "dickie thingie" expression. One day I was tying to find something in the house. I could not think of the name. I was soooo frustrated cause my brain was numb so I ended up calling it a dickie thingie. Ever since then I use that expression without thinking what someone else may think; lolol. Oh well, its mine. hehehe. U should have seen my doc's face when I said that one day. He laughed so hard. I get bugged about that one!!!!! hehe. Anyway.... wanted to say that I have not come on much cause of my darn headaches. It hurts to look at the screen. I came on today for a long time and my head hates me; lolol. (maybe just insane).... Thanks so very much for the replies..... I care about u all and missing u... Justy

I agree - there is absolutely no need to apologize. You have done nothing to hurt anyone so there is not a need for an apology. Hope you holiday turns out as happy as it can be. Good luck and best wishes.

Being so new to all of this I can see both sides.. (please don't slam me!) I have been reasently diagnosed with Adult ADD, It has put me onto a roller coaster of feelings. I guess now they want to talk about depression.. I am not on any meds yet.. This talking to anyone about my problems is all so new. All my life I new something wasn't right.. now I know!
Walking thru life with blinders on it is easy to put blame on others behavior and push it off on the child and the parents! Until today .. sadly.. I thought my son was "Lazy" when it came to spelling and writing! We have Yelled, pushed and fussed over it. TODAY, after I have a long talk with him and he says he feels like "Spelling Pressures Him" and he "just blanks out" I wonder if it is ADD as well. I feel like I was failing him as a parent! Sometimes it takes people to look out from under the rock than from on top of it to see the light. Please don't go out and buy the rock for them for a xmas present..LOL Just give them the right equipment to see it! It took me 31 years before I saw what was happening in my own life. I feel for you sweetie! Its such a hard time of year anyway!!! Kathy |

welcome flowers. We frown on slamming here.
I used to do that too on tests... but only just before, and when the test is passed out ... I needed a few minutes to breathe and clear my head before looking at it. He may need the teacher to give "the class" 30 more seconds on each spelling word, to give him time. ?

Well I wish that was just it! He is in 5th grade and brought home a xmas present for us. A Calendar. Somehow every month had something spelled wrong! It was in pencil and we corrected (in a productive manner) before dad saw it. Halloween, Showers Thanksgiving, even Christmas.. It was like the teacher didn't even check it! He said he was "rushed". (covering up) This teacher he has lets them have a journal, I think it is a wonderful idea to put their thoughts on paper. So many words have letters misplaced or not even there! He doesn't take the time to think! Simple words my 6 year old knows. Until this week I thought he was lazy and just hurried to fast in his work.. NOW I feel it is more. Maybe he is more like his mom then I want him to be...LOL Kathy |
