BT, hunnybunny...I'm so proud of you for doing this job, even if it is just a temporary position for you.

I'm feeling a bit better about this job now, it was a lot easier on Day 2.

That's great that you wound up taking the job and that day 2 was easier. I'm sure you'll find that as you get into it, you'll find it easier still.
I know it took me about a month to get back into the routine of working when I went back to work. --splitimage |

I flew recently and thought about you Tin. The flight attendants would come by and collect trash towards the end of the flight, and they made an announcements saying to please help to make things easier for the cleaning crew. I made sure to give her my coffee cup and napkin. The plane smelled nice and clean when we boarded...couldn't see if it was LOL. Anyway, I appreciated every member of the airport crew, especially after having read your thread before my trip. Thank you for what you do.
Hugs, Rayna

BT, I really liked reading Rayna's reflections on the real life experiences of being on an airplane and the appreciation for what you do.
About the first few days of work...There has to be a lot of new experience anxiety associated with it (I know this is the case with me), so much so, that one might feel like giving up initially. But you are so brave and strong for following thru with it. Keep hanging in there. I'm certain as you learn the ins and outs of it, it will become easier. Love Patty |

I hate the job, but I don't know why. It might just be having all those people around.

Hi Tin. There's probably going to be a big adjustment period here. Hang in there and give at least three months. If you still hate it at the end of three months, start looking for something else. Have you gotten a paycheck yet? I bet the money will stat to help. Try writing the things you like about the job and compare it to things you don't like. Try to focus on the positive.
Keep us posted, Rayna

My mother was a house cleaner for 15 years. I never thought of that job as something that was beneath her. She was good at her job, did I mention that she owned this house cleaning service and had a 3 year waiting list, and my bothers and I never wanted for anything. She started out with a small list of clients so I would give it a shot. You never know what can happen.
