Having a minor problem

The issue of the exact meaning of "General" (as in posting) was brought up not too long ago. Also, I've heard complaints of too many posts in the General category that are not really "General." Now I'm wondering myself where to put a post that I need some feedback on and I'm wondering if it will get read elsewhere. It doesn't belong in General. In fact, I've got the subject in two different categories. Where to post??

Would it be too presumptious of me to ask that we think where a particular subject belongs before we post? There are categories for practically every subject that may come up. It wouldn't take too much effort to just scroll down a bit and it would make it much easier for us that have an "organizational fetish/tic," (LOL ) insecurities or find it difficult to wade through all the subjects in General.

For those that are interested, I'm going to post in yet another category - "Relationships."

Well, I post where ever I think fits, and if it gets move, well, I don't really care, as long as it doesn't get erased.

(((SEPT)))) When WE don't know where to put a post, that's when the MODs should feel comfortable with MOVING the post to where THEY think it best belongs. It is too difficult to always pick the right forum, I agree, especially when we are in the throes of emotional turmoil. And, yes, the General forum becomes near impossible to keep up with, with all the new members and all the new posts etc... which is why IMO moderators should feel comfortable with moving posts!

Gloria, I have noticed that you DO post where it fits.

Having been a webmistress myself, it's to overwhelming to move posts around where they should be. It would be much better if people took the time and the responsibility for their own posts.
