I am soooo wanting to adopt a rescue dog from this organization that brings abandoned dogs from estonia to finland, I am now in love with THIS "little" guy

The description says he's about 3-5 year old male, very kind and loving, gets along with people and other dogs, loves children. About 65cm high, and they think he might be a mix of for example german and belgian shepherds. Soft half-long fur, loves agility, very obedient... Sounds perfect right?


Well, I now have to realize I CAN'T do something like this, at least not NOW when my own dog is only 7months old and female. Also I couldn't take him with me to the stables cuz there's this male rotweiler that hates other males. So pleeeeease say something to get me out of this mad-mode

I know I been down about not taking good care of Sega, but NOW I've been almost like manically training her and playing with her, buying her new toys and she's been with me at the stables everyday, where she not only gets loads of excercise but also she plays with the rotweiler. They are almost like best friends

AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Why does everything have to be so crazy!?

I'm trying to think that i can do this later, when Sega is older and maybe I have a bigger apartment, but you know how it is? Right....? Times like these things have to happen ASAP!!!

I think you've got all the reasons for not adopting this dog down. You've reasoned with yourself, and you know you can't do this and be fair to your other puppy. I'm a softie for needy dogs, too, but unfortunately, we can't take them all home. (I live in a pet-free apt now, so I can't take any of them home. Sob.)

Hey neriz, boy do I know where you are at. It is a need we have to love and nurture. You know that for whatever reasons this is not a good thing for you right now. Take care of Sega and have her be your best friend. It is important that you only take on what you can handle. I am learning that as I have reduced my rabbit herd by 7 and expect 6 more to go this week. Please be kind to yourself and just know now is a bad time for another rescue. I be that Sega has a great life. What a way to spend your days huh? PEACE.

XD Awwww... The doggy looks absolutely adorable. :3 If I could read the description, I'm sure he'd seem even better. Unfortunatly, it sounds like the only solution is to wait. TT__TT There's always another dog that needs a home! And many are just as nice. ^^ Hope you can figure it all out. ^^

Oh boy, can I relate. I'm a cat person and I can fall in love with a kitten/cat and be obsessed with wanting to adopt it, so much to the point that I have to stay away from places where they are available. I know the heartbreak of wanting the animal so desperately but yet knowing that my circumstances are not condusive for another kitty. I have 2 cats now, would love a 3rd. I can't afford a 3rd and one of my cats is very jealous of whatever time I spend with my other kitty, so bringing another home would only just add to that problem. However; it certainly doesn't dissapate my feelings/needs/wants of bringing another home. Unfortunately/fortunately practicality is winning out with me, as it should. It sure doesn't make it easy though. So, I know exactly how you feel, especially if you've already fallen in love with one. {{{{{{neriz}}}}}}}

oh, i can so understand what you're feeling. i want a small dog so badly to cuddle (fayeroe weighs 70 lbs) and no way can i get one now!!! slap my hand too!!! i've been looking in petfinders and fantasizing about rescuing a little female.....we need all the help we can get to no give in to our fantasies.....now is not a good time to get a new dog!!! xoxoxo pat

well i "compromised" me and my friend are gonna go buy me two mice tomorrow! we're gonna name them Ansku and Lare, those are the silly names we used of eachother when we were teens sooooo stupid!
