I am going through a change, all of my repressed memories keep coming back. I am 19 and already tired of living. Not every day mostly during night when my memories keep me awake. I don't know what to do I know I am not ready to give up though. I just need someone to talk to. I have friends but they are dealing with their own problems. I can't just keep it bottled up anymore. Sometimes it feels like I will burst from the effort of concealing my problems. Talk to me... please

What kind of repressed memories come up? Mine are abusive ones, personally, does that have something to do with it, and have you sought counseling? Nineteen is a hard age, very hard, I could see how this could happen....write more?

Hello Victopia, it's nice to meet you, welcome to psych central.
This is a great place to meet new friends and find support, have a look around and post more whenever you are comfortable. The members here are all pretty nice and more then willing to try to help, I hope to see you around.
If you have any questions feel free to private message any community liaison or moderator, here is a link to a list of forum leaders.

I agree that you may benefit from some counseling, therapy has really helped me.

I agree with Junerain. If you could write a bit more, in general, about the types of repressed memories that are bothering you, more people may be better able to respond appropriately. Also agree with seeing a therapist.

than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
