Hi.

Sorry I didn't really update before. Anyway, I have some good news and some bad news. Good news is that I've been getting more memories back that I can actually use as tools to help me get better -- I realized a lot of my intrusive thoughts were unresolved memories. The bad news is that my intrusive thoughts have been getting worse and more frightening. I had a good talk with my neurofeedback doctor about all of this, and he was very lovely about it, giving me the information I needed.

And I finally finished The Exorcist. Honestly, it was a good movie; it really holds up. Great characters, atmosphere, etc. Definitely disturbing elements in it, though, so it's not for everybody.

that is great news about getting more memories back. i have had similar results over the months with my own NFB and now that i am getting more memories back, it is helping me to process and integrate them fully, including many of my body memories that i just did not seem to have the correct language to describe fully in talk therapy.

i also struggle with intrusive thoughts and they have become more prevalent again for me recently. there are some NFB protocols that are suppose to help with intrusive thoughts and i am going to start one of them at my next session in hopes that it will help.
