I used to weigh myself everyday.
As the scale kept increasing, I ate more. Does anyone have any ideas/tips as to breaking this bad habit? __________________ What's so funny about peace, love and understanding? Elvis Costello |

I don't know if this would work for you, but when I stop caring and eat everything in sight, I remind myself that if it goes on longer I will get weight related health complications. For me it's mostly fear of developing type II diabetes and high blood pressure, since that happens to everyone in my family who gets really heavy. Then I have incentive to remain below a certain weight.

I have a scale and it sits in the closet because I never weigh myself. It's too depressing even if I have lost a little it still looks bad. I just go by how my clothes fit, and if the clothes get tight then I buckle down and eat less, drink more water, or go buy a bigger size of jeans and wear those until I can get back into the smaller ones again.
