Update on Boo's brother

My brother has been home for 2 weeks now and is doing well. Maybe this is wrong, but i confiscated his Tylenol #4 because it effects him so negatively. He gets somnolent and confused. I, of all people, understand what it's like to be in pain, but i think the danger of him falling is much worse. I am taking him to his GP Thursday and perhaps we can discuss the issue.
Saturday me and my DH spent nearly the whole day devoted to brother, taking him to select a new chair, then shopping and DH installed the life alert station for him. I was DEAD by 6pm.
DH had a heart to heart w/ me about his continuing issues with being "invaded" by my family. I listened and tried to be supportive.
So, i continue to try to coordinate all the services for my brother. He sometimes has a very bad day, due to grieving for my sister, and I wish i could find someplace for him to go during the day.

Boo, i'm sorry that you're having such a hard time right now. it certainly sounds exhausting. are you taking on too much for yourself?

confiscating the meds sounds reasonable to me. better to be a bit under medicated than over.......PM me if you need to. love, pat
