Does anyone know of any good resources with help on how to parent when you are borderline? I feel so lost, I have to always ask people what is "normal" for children my age. My daughter has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression already, and is also having a lot of oppositional problems. How much of this is her, and how much is it because I am never sure of what I am doing. (I realize no parent is "sure", but I feel like I am extra "clueless"). I feel so lost sometimes and would like a book like "Tips for Parenting When You Are a Borderline" or something. Anyway, just thought I would ask, and I would appreciate any help in this area. Thanks and Hugs!

You may want to check with your library and see if they can track down this book for you.

I found it on Amazon but they want thirty something bucks for it. I'm not sure if it's any good, but it looks like it might be helpful to you!

You know 90, I agree with you. I love my 2 children, but if I had known that things were going to get this bad, well...I guess you can't predict the future. Their first years were pretty stable, the last a total wreck. I have horrible guilt everyday for what this might be doing to them.

Petunia, thanks. I will look into it. Parenting is hard enought as it is, but with my diagnoses, well, it's definitely not easy.

Thanks for your responses. Love ya!
