Has anyone read this book about BPD?
I'm in the process of reading it. It is an okay book in my opinion. What are your opinons on the book and do you have any others you could recommend to me?
I'm in the process of working on myself, and doing some reading does help. I've given up on relationships for now, I feel I'm making a huge step in the recovering process.

Also if you know of any books about narcissism, it would be appreciated.

I have read it. I found it confusing keeping up w/ the different patients.
I haven't really come across a book on BPD that has struck me as being helpful.
And, books to help others understand us borderlines, IMO, seem to make us out to be horrible people.

I haven't read it. Does it refer to Bipolar Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder?

Lost in the Mirror is the only book I have ever read in my lifetime that speaks my language, the language of the borderline, as it was wrote to reach out to the way we see the world. Also try "New Hope for Borderline Personality Disorder" and go to Amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com and do a search using the word Narcisism I remember there ARE more I just can't think of them now. What I liked most about Lost In The Mirror was the way he describes floating through space without any sense of up or down, destination or origin.

I liked the book Angry Heart. Its a workbook. Beware though if you start to work through it it's hard work and imo best done with a therapist. There are some potential triggering things in the book.
