Hi, deadgoddess, welcome to PsychCentral. Yeah, there's lots of us out here. Under the "Forums" tab up top, look at the last choice, "Who's Online" and it will show how many people are around and reading/posting.

Sorry you're feeling so sad and anxious and alone right now.

welcome deadgodess, you are not alone. I am on my way to group, for just the feelings you describe. some days it helps, some days it's a pain to go (today). but overall, it does help me.

Hi! I am sorry how you are feeling. I go through the same thing. Even after being diagnosed 11 yrs ago, I still fight with this. I feel all the time that there is me and then there is the rest of the world. I try to put myself in other peoples' shoe and figure out what life is like. Even when I start to get close to a few people the anxiety of a social situation stirs me up. I can really relate to feeling so alone. My therapist tries to comfort and reassure me. For me the best help I have had is talking to others like me and trying to get through it the best I can. It does help to know I am not alone in this.
