I just found this community. I've been depressed since I was a teenager. I finally got help when I was about 25 I started prozac. I was later diagnosed with Adult ADD. But I hav ea qustion I have never told anyone and I don't know if its important. Ever since I was in High School maybe before I have always thought someone was watching me. In a good way. Lets say the guy I liked I would always "pretend" I guess that somehow he had a camera and could see me all the time. Nothing erotic or anything like that. If it was a star or something I was into I felt the same way. I still do that to a point but not as bad as I use to do. Is that something I should discuss with my doctor. I'm confussed... scared I'm really messed up. does anyone have any advise? Thank you.

when video cameras came into vogue, people began whispering about hidden cameras.. remember Candid Camera? those were some hysterical moments people were trapped in at times... maybe its not an illusion that someone is watching? mi spose if you're on the up and up there's not much to worry over... good luck with this tho

If you are in therapy, tell your therapist. There is much to be explored with curioustiy in this.
I sometimes feel like I am living my life behind the camera, that I'm seeing things go by as if I'm watching a video rather than being there in real life. It's a kind of derealization, I think.

During space missions I sometimes imagine that the aliens are watching and listening to the broadcast coverage -- but they have to depend on that and cannot see inside buildings and stuff to see things going on that do not get broadcast!

Now, what does this have to do with nascar20's question? I'm not sure, but it doesn't sound dangerous to me!
