1. Is a history of sexual abuse common for people who have anger management problems? Does post traumatic stress disorder from previous abuse play into things at all? I'm not necessarily suggesting "causation" here, just correlation.

2. Also, can Intermittent Explosive Disorder manifest itself in the form of sexual abuse towards someone else? For my purposes I am especially curious about a father with IER sexual abusing his teenage daughter. Is that more anger related or sexual deviancy related?

Thanks for your responses on this sensitive subject.

Hi DoubleJ

Welcome to PC. I'm sorry to say I have no experience personally or relationship wise with anyone diagnosed with IER. From what you've described, it does seem to be a horrible disease.
