I just opened a letter from my attorney.... (got mail Friday but too much pain to bother.... now needing distractions..) I have been waiting since spring when she made me sign off on a hearing cuz she hadn't pulled the data needed to finish me off ... and agreed to reapply for new date which she said would be 8 month's wait... and she said in this letter that there is no hearing scheduled, what did I think I needed one for? Is this why homocide is illegal????? TOo much pain for this garbage too! I hate her.

(((((((((((((((((((sky))))))))))))))))))))

i'm so sorry. it gripes me when it feels like certain professionals (dr, lawyers, etc.) aren't doing what they're supposed to do for our lives...they can hold so much of it sometimes.

be safe,

Ack. Sorry to hear that. At the risk of sounding like a stereotyping narrow-minded person, I REALLY DISLIKE lawyers. When I was at jury duty, the judge told us, "You have to wear your 'Juror' badge all day so that lawyers won't talk to you." I asked him if I could wear it for the rest of my life. He didn't seem amused.

one atty so shocked and amazed me that i got out of the business forever when he showed me a part of myself that i never want to see again.

back to sky...

sky are you going to remind the atty of the past events so that she'll get on it now? if so, i'm sorry you have to go thru all of that...

Wow! She sure is not helping you!

Without wanting to be cruel here, sometime I wonder if these people ever have felt pain.

Your situation sounds very frustrating. I'm hating that attorney too, and all professionals who don't do their job.

I'm sorry that happened sky.

I have to work with attorneys daily in my business. It seems far too many are totally incompetent. They are a necessary evil sometimes unfortunately.

Take care.

It is infuriating to put your life, life savings, and sanity in the hands of so called professionals whose sole purpose IS to be ethical.

I speak of doctors, lawyers, judges, nuns, priests - only to find that though they might be cloaked in the white or black robes of justice, ethics, morals, etc., they are anything BUT.

How does one recover from the post traumatic stress created when you put your trust in these types of professionals and get abused mentally, physically and financially?

Hire a lawyer? Never.

Hello Sky. I am sorry you must put up with that garbage..I have always had a serious dislike for lawyers. But they are a necessary evil, true.

It took almost three years to get my disability payments started. It was hell waiting!

Hope you will be feeling better soon.

We had a loved who was nearly doctored2death (c) and we believe it was because the patient had 100% insurance coverage. This incarceration in the hospital has caused the patient to REFUSE to go to the hospital or be treated by a doctor, at the risk of causing further health problems.

Mentally, they feel as if going to a hospital or doctor will be the kiss of death for them.

I can't really blame them. Their incarceration in this hospital was like torture. I don't think they will ever recover emotionally. Nor will the patient's wife of 47 years. She was held hostage because she feared leaving his side for even a minute.

What we feel on a daily basis, and who we are, is greatly influenced by environmental factors.

it is easier to lose control of ourselves mentally and physically because of these environmental influences than it is to keep things in control.

If we all spent as much time thinking positive as negative - I wonder if we could get a better handle on our psyche's and be able to handle the daily barrage of emotional trauma that comes our way due to circumstances beyond our control.

PTSD is not just a symptom of having been on the battlefields of a war - even the little battles we face everyday can build up to trauma.

The daily battles do add up, and when it involves professionals that we rely on being apparently unable to listen and help, it is extra difficult.

Sky, did your attorney finally grow a brain?
