isn't it amazing how even two letters put together in the right sequence can be a huge trigger? some of the oddest things, and at the oddest times, can trigger.

it makes it so hard sometimes. i'm thankful that mindfulness is helping me with that tho. i acknowledged it and, even tho still shaky, am continuing on. have to worry it don't bite me later, though, as well.

triggers...ugh.

love,

kd

I'm sorry you've been triggered. But could we look at it as... wow what a (relatively) small trigger...doesn't this mean you're cleaning out the closets of bad stuff and are ready for the final dustpan work? I hope so, for you!!!! They still aren't good feeling.... ((((KD)))))

thank you (((((((((sky))))))))))) yes, i agree with you. i've pulled so much out of that closet that it's not terrorizing anymore, just scary to look at for the first few seconds until thought catches up with sight.

thank you again. your words are encouraging and i think you're right two letters.

I recently got a letter that bothered me because of who it is from, he also enclosed a letter from someone else that I really did not want to see. Different from what you got, but I certainly can relate.

Sarah, if anyone knows whats poetic its you-

it should have said blank tiles, I hate my typos, but I guess my thought was that I try to notice things like that that trigger good ideas , even though they may end up being dysfunctional (albeit life-preserving) behaviors (like dissociation) they can be good ideas to toy with , like a blank tile being a metaphor. . .

. . .now Im over explaining myself and I hate when I do that too.

Well, anyway Kimmy that was my dysfunctional attempt at being supportive and positive ala your own example here. . .
