When I went out with the bin today I found a whole lot of papers my mother had thrown out. It was drawings and stories I had given her when I was little. Made me so sad to see them lying there in the bin, so I took it all out and went through it. Looking through it made me remember so many things, and it made me sad cause the stories weren't happy, and I remember happy things from that time. I forgot all the sad stuff and suddenly it made me sad all over again. So stupid! Memories Memories Memories
don't know why I took them out. I feel so angry, and betrayed.

your mum might need to detatch herself from them. it may be hard for her to keep them with her so she has decided to throw them out. she might not have realised this would upset you. have you tried speaking to her about it and asking her why she threw them out?

you are bound to feel upset looking at memories from the past, its always hard, especially if what you saw was good. but bad memories can make us equally as unhappy. it shows you were strong enough to be able to look through the papers, otherwise you just wouldnt have done it.

this feeling will pass soon enough, honest. but until then, just nourish them, and remember the good times, the good memories you have. thats what makes us who we are, our past. so honour it and accept it. i know its easier said than done but it can be done.

Why would she need to detach herself from them. Why would it be hard for her to keep them? She kept them 10 years already why would it suddenly be hard for her? Well I hope that's it anyway, cause at least that would mean that she cared.

IDK why she threw them out...maybe they meant nothing anymore and she had better memories? I hope you keep them... and later use them to help you heal.
