I have not been around for awhile cause I was back in college and then I had problems with my antidepressant medication. I am now off antidepressants and managing well I believe. All the below problems I am having has been going on before & after antidepressants.
Does anybody else get major anxiety around dusk hours? I do! Does anybody else get a bloated stomach when their anxiety gets high or triggered? I do and sometimes no trigger just boom, I'm anxious! I have tried EVERYTHING during a anxious time from meditation, walking, prayer, redirecting thoughts, cuddling in warm blanket, and nothing works except the chill pill. I know that our brains get overwhelmed etc but the anxiety comes SOOOO FAST WITH NO WARNING for me except the stomach bloating (which hurts). Any feedback is appreciated ![]() |

Could have written your post.
I've read cortisol levels increase with stress contributing to bloating & belly fat. Might google it. Don't have any links to direct you. Only thing I can contribute to the afternoon anxiety attacks is the half life of my klonopin, which I take at bedtime, 2mg. Don't know if this helps but you are not alone. ![]() |
