today i am greatful for having a somewhat positive night last night, and not giving in to my dark thoughts

Today I am grateful

that my t emailed me this morning
for good Indian food and;
for afternoon siestas

I'm grateful that one of the step kids is here and so far it has been stress free and we put up the tree. I have high level of anxiety around the holidays when we see the step child that hurt me three years ago. So far this visit things are going okay because he isn't here but despite all the past trauma and how being around the one son triggers me, I am truly grateful for all four of my adult step children. Each of them has a special place in my heart and I remind myself of that when anxiety gets too high.

On a day I feel miserable, I'm glad this thread exists. I'm grateful for this site, this forum, and the reminders that I need to be aware of and appreciate the good things, no matter how seemingly small.

Today and everyday I am grateful for my best friend and life partner, my husband.

im forever eternally grateful for my therapist .she is a godsend to me since the day I met her in 2014 . my nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews .
my former choir director she been my confidant since the day I met her in 1999.








Diagnosis: Anxiety and depression
meds: Cymbalta 60 mgs at night
Vistrail 2 25 mgs daily for anxiety prn
50 mgs at night for insomnia with an additional 25 mgs at night when up past 1:00 in the morning

i am grateful for food, clothing and shelter.

books & music

8 bags of garbage put out!!

My place is nearly all packed up. But I don't know where I put the pins for the shelves.

I'm grateful for AC because I could not survive a hot room anymore. So, thanks for the AC plus my friend who got it installed (2 years ago, i think).

Thank you for the little things that keep me going for another hour or two, and draw me in away from the depression. Snacks, movie clips, my TV, my bed. I actually have so much now. It wouldn't be enough for almost everyone, but it's OK for me.

today i guess i'm greatful it's not as hot as it was yesterday
